Arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, meet with your guide and driver and transfer to your selected hotel for check in. Here the guide will provide you with more information about the city.
Accommodation: hotel in Siem Reap
Breakfast in the hotel. Your tour guide and driver will pick you up at 08:00 AM and transfer to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Angkor. The tour starts from Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Khmer empire. In the 12th century it was the largest city in the world with about 1 million people. Continue to visit the Bayon famous for the enigmatic, smiling Buddha faces which adorn its towers; the Baphoun, the Royal Palace, the Terrace of the Elephant and the Terrace of the Leper King. Then continue to visit the jungle temple of Ta Prohm, covered by tropical trees. Lunch in a local restaurant (not included). In the afternoon we will continue to visit the largest temple in the world, Angkor Wat, a masterpiece of Khmer art, the symbol of Cambodia and one of the wonders of the world. Spend time inside to observe the details of the very well-preserved carvings in the sandstone walls of the temple, then watch the sunset at Pre Rup temple, soon after returning to the hotel.

Breakfast in the hotel. Meet with your guide and driver and transfer to visit the most beautiful temples of the Angkor Archaeological Park, the world heritage site that hosts more than 250 temples in an area covering 401 km2. Visit Preah Kahn, Neak Pean, Ta Som, East Mebon and Bantey Samre temples. Lunch in a local restaurant (not included). After lunch visit the Banteay Srey known as the crown jewel of Khmer art since it was built in pink sandstone. On the way back to your hotel, stop to visit a nearby village where you will see several Cambodian traditional houses and observe the sugar cane production.

Breakfast at the hotel. Meet with your guide and driver and transfer to the largest lake in Southeast Asia, the Tonle Sap, which has been listed by UNESCO as a Natural Biosphere in 1997. Take a cruise to visit the floating villages and experience the daily life of the Khmer people living in floating houses and bamboo rafts on the lake: see the floating school, the floating market, a floating church and the freshwater mangrove eco-system that surrounds the lake. Lunch in a local restaurant (not included). Then continue to the Roluos complex, a group of temples that were constructed at the beginning of the Khmer empire, in the 9th century. Visit the Lo Lei, Preah Ko and Bakong temples. If there is still enough time available, visit the Phsar Lue Market and Artisan D’Angkor.
At the end, transfer to Siem Reap International Airport accordingly with your International flight.
